Kayaking Squam Lake ice on April 5th, 2020. We paddled from Deephaven to Five Finger Point, made our way through ice sheets to Loon Island and then around Long Island, meeting up with friends at Utopia. The ice sheets were two to four inches thick, getting weaker and pushed around by the light wind during our 6.75 mile paddle. The reflections were beautiful, here are some photos from my GoPro Hero8 camera.
Kayak Camping Casco Bay Maine
Amazing kayak camping adventure on Casco Bay, Maine coast with Amy. Eric’s GoPro photography captured the scenery along the beautiful coastal islands. We have been touring the Maine Island Trail for 22 years and it is always good to reconnect with the tides, salt water, and island life and to escape the routine of daily life.
